The JewelFinder Network (Jewelfinder.net) was born out of frustration with big, shopping comparison sites. Those online supersites are great for comparing prices on a new microwave oven, but when it comes to jewelry they fal painfully short - returning poorly-targeted results, irrellevant merchandise, and very often the same items from the same 2-3 merchants ... over and over and over again.
The founder of Jewelfinder.net is a web developer and an alumni of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Created by a jewelry lover FOR jewelry lovers, the heart of JewelFinder.net is our jewelry search engine which searches entire product catalogs from a growing number of popular online jewelry merchants. These merchants include shopping mall stand-by's like Macy's, Gordon's Jewelers and Ross Simons, online favorites like My Jewelry Box and Diamond.com, TV shopping networks like JTV and HSN, bargain outlets like Overstock.com, and many others - with jewelry from the classically elegant to the outrageously creative.
Another important feature of the Jewelfinder Network is our network of jewelry "boutiques". Built upon the JewelFinder platform, each features a different gemstone or type of jewelry, along with informative articles to help you purchase, care for and learn more about these items. We want you to become an informed consumer - to have the knowledge to make a purchase that will make you and those you love happy for years to come!
This project is still a "diamond in the rough" but we have many exciting changes are coming to the JewelFinder Network in 2010 - we think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
